Physics Effects Settings define how force is applied to scene objects during physics interactions. They are shared across PhysX Painter tools that push, attract, or lift existing objects.

Force

Controls the strength of the effect.
  • Force Range — when enabled, MegaWorld picks a random force value between Min Force and Max Force for each affected object. Enabled by default.
  • Min Force — the lower bound of the force range. When Force Range is disabled, this value is used as the fixed force.
  • Max Force — the upper bound of the force range.

Direction

  • Random Strength — controls the direction of the applied force as a lerp between straight down (0, -1, 0) and a random horizontal direction. At 0 the force points directly downward. At 100 the force points in a fully random horizontal direction. Values in between blend the two. Default is 50.
