Settings
- Blend Mode — how this filter combines with the previous mask in the stack. Multiply narrows the spawn area; Add expands it.
-
Mode — selects which type of surface to target:
- Recessed — targets concave areas (valleys, hollows, ditches).
- Exposed — targets convex areas (ridges, hilltops, edges).
- Strength — controls the intensity of the masking effect. Higher values create a stronger, more defined mask.
- Feature Size — specifies the scale of terrain features that influence the detection. Larger values detect broader, more gradual curvature; smaller values pick up fine surface details.
- Remap Curve — remaps the raw concavity values before the final mask is produced. Adjust this curve to control how the detected curvature translates into mask intensity.
