- Poisson Disc Size controls the minimum spacing between samples.
When to use Poisson Disc
Poisson Disc is best when you want:- even spacing without visible grid lines;
- natural-looking object spread;
- fewer clumps and fewer accidental near-overlaps at the sample stage.
Notes
- Poisson Disc is usually more controlled than Random Point.
- If you want hard structure, use Random Grid instead.
- If you want even spacing but still some variation, Poisson Disc is often the best starting point.
